MANTA

MANTA is a biotech deep-sea research company dedicated to exploring the uncharted depths of the ocean. The visual identity centers on a fluid, stingray-inspired icon that symbolizes both grace and technical precision, utilizing a high-contrast Abyssal Blue and Bioluminescent Cyan palette to reflect the deep sea.

The Vision

The visual identity for MANTA was conceived to represent the frontier of deep-sea biotechnology. Unlike the grounded, heritage-focused branding of a brewery, the vision for MANTA is rooted in fluidity and advanced discovery.

The Visual Anchor

The MANTA logomark was designed to communicate technical agility and scientific authority. By pairing a custom, stingray icon with a modern sans-serif typeface, the wordmark establishes a professional identity that feels both organic and high-tech.

Tactile Professionalism

A research brand must convey unwavering reliability. The visual system utilizes a high-contrast palette, ensuring the identity remains legible across technical field equipment, laboratory documentation, and digital interfaces.

Lifestyle & Context

To visualize the brand, I developed a sub-aquatic environmental render. Through extensive digital compositing and post-production, I integrated the MANTA identity onto deep-sea submersibles and exploration tools, ensuring a realistic perspective and brand placement within the extreme physical settings of the deep ocean.
